Dr. Paul Charlton B.Sc.,D.C.
Chiropractor
As the founder of Chiropractic Works, I have had the great privilege of helping patients for almost 24 years. I was born in Scarborough, Ontario, where I was exposed at a very young age to the medical field by my father, Dr. Ron Charlton. As a young boy, I can still remember going on house calls with him and watching how he would try and help to heal his patients. There is no question, my observation of how his compassion for all those people made a lasting impression on me that I have carried with me into my Chiropractic practice today.
So why did I choose Chiropractic? After injuring my back during a high school hockey practice and not finding relief with medicine. It was my father who recommended that I should try Chiropractic. To this day, I’m grateful that not only did I find relief then but I continue to enjoy the health benefits of regular Chiropractic care. I was drawn to the fact that I could help people feel better through natural means without the use of drugs or surgery.
I attained my B.Sc. from Trent University and in my final year applied to and was accepted to Chiropractic College. The next 4 years was a wonderful immersion in academics on the working of the human body at the renowned Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. I graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 1991.
I share my home time with my wife, Nancy, and my 3 beautiful children, Renee, Julianna, and Brendan. I enjoy being in nature, socializing with quality friends, and watching my beloved Leafs on Saturday night with my dog Brady."
