With the warmer weather approaching, we’re all eager to get out and work in our gardens.


With all the standing, bending, leaning forward, kneeling and twisting that you’ll experience while gardening,

just remember that you’re not as young as you thought you were.


Yes, our gardens are beautiful creations, but remember they are not created in just 1 weekend!


To decrease the number of aches and pains that can occur, here are a couple of tips for an enjoyable gardening experience.

  • Warm up

  • Drink water

  • Be mindful of large loads

  • Breathe

  • Listen to your body

  • Vary your tasks

  • Take breaks
